in eyewear customizing, repair and refurbishment. Highly skilled
repair and color technicians, state of the art repair equipment,
and a knowledgeable Customer Service department are keys to the
success of Hilco's eyewear aftercare program.
The Service Center's customer base includes individual eye care
practices, optical chains, eyewear manufacturers, and consumers.
Service center products and programs include turnkey warranty and
repair programs for several major eyewear brands; renewal and quality
programs for frame manufacturers and chain customers; and repair
and customizing services for eye care professionals. Consumers can

Premium Repairs
Metal - Includes multiple solder or repair points, plating
or painting the repaired area. Complete frame tune up: replacing ordinary
factory screws with locking screws, nose pad replacement, 4 point
alignment and ultrasonic cleaning of frame.
Plastic - Includes bridge repairs and hinge replacement. Complete
frame tune up: replacing ordinary factory screws with locking screws,
4-point alignment and ultrasonic cleaning of frame.
Titanium - Includes multiple solder or repair points. Complete
frame tune up: replacing ordinary factory screws with locking screws,
nose pad replacement, 4 point alignment and ultrasonic cleaning of
frame.
Frame Customizing
Metal - Includes changing temple tips to cable ends, shortening/lengthening
temples, adding hypoallergenic latex sleeves for sensitive patients,
Plastic - Includes bridge or pad arm conversions.
Medical
Ptosis crutch for patients with reduced eyelid muscle control. Moisture
chambers for patients with severe dry eye syndrome.
By sending your frame to the Hilco Service Center you are accepting the
following conditions:
A non-refundable $7.50 handling charge will be applied for each frame
received to cover the costs of handling, evaluation. If repair is not possible
the frame will be returned and there will be no further charges beyond the
$7.50 handling/evaluation fee. If the frame is repairable, a repair charge of
$25.00 (including the evaluation/handling fee) for Plastic and Metal frames, and
$45.00 (including the evaluation/handling fee) for Titanium frames will be
applied. If a repair fee is to exceed $25.00 ($45.00/Titanium), you will be
contacted to request further authorization before the repair is made.
